Like the famed Italian director, these two have cornered the market on infusing their work with splashes of cinematic realism, capturing the day-to-day and the authentic as it happens alongside the art. Sometimes it’s scorching and erotic, and sometimes it’s just hilarious. This scene has a little of both. There is no feigning the look of reverent joy on Mickey’s face throughout this scene, but it’s the member of the Colby Knox Menagerie off-screen who steals the show, peppering the audio track with her epic snoring. Probably not the cinematic effect they were going for, but entertaining all the same.
Just love you guys, and the intense energy you put into every performance.
